EFI is looking for a .NET Software for our fast-growing business unit from Spain, Almazora. The goal of the role is to design, develop and deliver high quality, well tested software for EFI Inkjet Industrial printers.

In this role you will design and create software for EFI Inkjet industrial printers in building materials or corrugated market. The role will offer you the opportunity to be part of engineering team which works with an multidisciplinary approach around Mechanical, Electrical areas, Software and Applications. You will have the chance to work part of a big multinational company who revolutionize the printing world with a culture around constant innovation and best quality and products for customers.

Our software is designed for managing all the aspects in the press, from the Graphical User Interface to the communication with the firmware of the print electronics or PLC. Also we are focused on Industry 4.0 and cloud platforms for offering complete solutions that will monitor the press and will give our customers a complete view of the press performance.

Our first goal is writing high quality and modular code for making intuitive applications easy to use for our customers and making a difference among competition.

Job requirements:

  • Advanced programming and design skills in .NET framework (C# and VB)
  • Good understanding of operating systems and design patterns.
  • Complex problem solving, creativity and innovation;
  • Good on designing software architecture;
  • Broad knowledge of computer science fundamentals;
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as software engineer;
  • A BS in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or a related discipline;
  • Good team player.

Preferred but not required:

  • Knowledge on WPF, MVVM, MySQL, Webservices;
  • Agile software development methodologies.
  • Unit tests
